Do It Up

Full Volume Retro Do
For this style I used rollers to create a lot of volume at the crown. Once set I barrel curled the rest of the head. I then pinned up the hair at the base of the head to create a shorter looking hairstyle. Then I strategically placed the rest of the curls over the head into a style to create a somewhat retro look. Cute for a bride or any special occasion.

Side Swept Up Do
This is a spiral curled up do, where I spiraled the entire head and then teased the hair a bit and took a few bobby pins to hold it to the side in a few places. Can be worn for any occasion, it looks fancy but is actually pretty easy to achieve. It can be dressed up with a nice pin in the back for a prom or possibly a bridesmaid.

Victory Roll
The popular vintage/pin up style. This is a half up version with loose curls in the back.

Cornrow/Mohawk Up Do
I learned cornrows and then created this up do with cornrows all down one side of the head and spiraled the rest of the hair, forming it into a Mohawk type style.

Sleek Wedding Do
This do is done on fairly short hair but could also be done with long hair. Pulled back with a bump at the top of the head and soft curls rolled at the bottom/back of the head. All done with a straightener, bobby pins and hair spray. Wouldn't it look nice with a statement piece at the top of the curls or even a veil...

Crossed Low Bun
Swept back up do with a braided look. This is done on medium length hair and teased at the crown of the head. Then the pieces crossed over from each side to give the braided look. The bun is gathered into a ponytail and pinned up with bobby pins.

Fancy Braided Do
This is done on medium length hair. Teased at the crown of the head. Then I took the sides and pulled back into braids. I pinned the lower half of the hair up with pins after I curled it with a marcel iron. Perfect for a holiday party, night on the town, prom or even a wedding!
